State Theatre Company Teams with Great Plains Sponsorships to Sell Naming Rights
The Sioux Falls State Theatre Company and a locally-owned firm, Great Plains Sponsorships, Inc., have joined forces to market naming rights and sponsorship opportunities at the historic State Theatre.
Ryan Querry, of Great Plains Sponsorships, has played a key role in marketing naming rights and sponsorships throughout the region, including local projects such as the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center, Midco Aquatic Center and the Washington Pavilion.
“Ryan’s forward-thinking approach paired with his success in securing partnerships in our community aligns well with our strategy to open the State Theatre,” said President John Swedeen of the Sioux Falls State Theatre Company.
For those who’ve followed the State Theatre’s journey to reopen, you know that many of the essential phases of construction are complete, including the lobby and infrastructure-related projects. The Theatre’s location and iconic marquee make it a landmark in downtown Sioux Falls and an irreplaceable part of our city’s rich history.
The State Theatre Company, which owns the building, is looking for an individual or organization that is interested in aligning their name or brand with the historic Theatre. Revenue from naming rights and sponsorships will dramatically accelerate construction and establish an opening date for the State Theatre.
Multiple naming right opportunities are available, the pinnacle of which is the naming rights to the historic venue.
“The State Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Sioux Falls, on arguably the most prominent street in the city. A naming rights opportunity of this magnitude comes around once every 100 years,” Querry said.
