Volunteering at the State Theatre is a great way to meet new people and can be a fun way to give back to the community. We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels. The most important qualities we look for are enthusiasm, friendliness and a willingness to help create a positive experience for our guests. If you love movies and historic buildings, even better.
As a theatre greeter and ticket scanner, you’ll be the friendly face that takes tickets and helps welcome the 40,000 guests that visit our beautiful theatre eacy year. Don’t worry, we provide plenty of training to make sure you’re comfortable with your role.
Whether you’re able to volunteer once a week or once a month, we appreciate your support in helping the State Theatre. We simply could not operate without our wonderful volunteers!
